The Frontenac Club Inn, located in downtown Kingston, is a historically designated limestone building. It was originally built in 1845 for the Bank of Montreal, just as Kingston ended its brief reign as the capital city of Upper and Lower Canada. Located in Kingston's historic downtown, the Frontenac Club Inn offers visitors thirteen guest rooms, including a delicious breakfast, "which subscribe to a smart, unfussy sensibility", in a relaxed and comfortable setting. Some rooms have gas fireplaces and jacuzzis and all have a private bath. The Inn is conveniently located within walking distance of the waterfront, restaurants, shopping, Queen's University and local attractions like the annual Limestone Blues Festival, Buskers Rendezvous, sailing events and Feb Fest. Featured in Canadian Living magazine in 2004, the Inn has also been featured in Toronto Life's Getaway Guide for the past 5 years.
