The York Region is the fastest growing region in all of Canada. The area contains the large cities of Vaughan, Markham and Richmond Hill. Stretching from large Lake Simcoe in the north to the Great Lake Ontario in the south, York Region is part of the beautiful Oak Ridges Moraine, and there are 13 Conservation Areas and many regional and municipal parks in which to enjoy the amazing natural scenery of the moraine.
Two of the better known attractions in York Region are the McMichael Canadian Art Collection in Kleinburg, home to many works by the famous Group of Seven, and Canada's Wonderland in Vaughan, Canada's largest theme park with more than 15 roller coasters!
Other attractions include the Wave Poolwater park, NASCAR Speedpark, the David Dunlap Observatory and Reptilia, an indoor reptile zoo.
