Niagara Falls

Aerial view of Niagara Falls, Ontario, Canada. This is one of the greatest sights to see in Ontario, and certainly the most famous.  No image or picture can give you the same thrill and same sense of power that comes from seeing the falls in person.  Don't wait to see this natural wonder, as the Falls are slowly moving upstream away from the city at a rate of one foot per year. View the falls from the cliffside park, or take a ride on a helicopter, tramway or the Maid of the Mist.

Niagara Peninsula

Surrounding one of the world's greatest sights is a lush farmland filled with vineyards, orchards and theatres!

Tempting food and drink in Niagara-on-the-Lake, Ontario, Canada. The peninsula formed by Lake Ontario and Lake Erie and the Niagara River has one of the mildest climates in Canada.  As a result, the landscape is overflowing with fruit farms and vineyards.  The area is one of Canada's top wine-producing regions, including the Niagara speciality of ice wine - harvested in December or January.  Many of the larger vineyards and wineries in the area offer fine cuisine or live music to attract travellers to their estate tours.
