Lac Philippe is particularly geared toward camping families, with 250 sites. There is an interpretation program at the camp, from the end of June to the end of August. The program is run by a team of nature-interpreters, and offers campers a variety of activities. The program includes a discovery activity at Lusk Caves, a wildlife observation activity, a family activity, and an activity for children. Each campsite has a picnic table, one fireplace, and one parking spot. There are no electrical hook-ups, and alcohol is strictly prohibited. Lac Philippe is perfect for swimmers! There are three supervised beaches; Smith Beach is reserved entirely for campers. There is also a general store (selling bread, milk, wood, and ice, among other things), free showers, sixteen outdoor water taps, and plenty of hiking and mountain biking trails.
