Curve Lake is a small village with a population of 740 people, it is the home of the Mississauga Ojibway. It is located on a peninsula between Chemong Lake and Buckhorn Lake. The Curve Lake Cultural Centre is a central location showcasing our culture and way of life. See our collection of ash baskets hand crafted by local people, a wild rice gathering display, learn about smoke tan hide method or learn a song on the hand drum. Local storytellers and resource people will share with you our extraordinary history, cultrual teachings or learn more about our politcal sysem both local and National and explain the relation-ship and impact on the Canadian politcal system.
