The Hope Mill Museum is a historic site located at the Conservation Area. Built in 1836 by Squire William Lang, the mill was purchased by the Authority in 1966 and restored to its original character and charm. The water-powered sawmill is open to the public during the summer season. Interpretive tours of the mill introduce visitors to the family history, operation of the sawmill, and history of the lumber industry of the mid 1800's.
