The purpose and objectives of the Osgoode Township Historical Society and Museum are: To promote the study, practice and knowledge of all phases of historical and archeological research within the Township of Osgoode; To secure and preserve an accurate account of the progress and development of the Township of Osgoode; To promote public interest in the history of the area; To maintain a museum and the property as a repository for indigenous native and pioneer relics, artifacts, historical documents, and other articles of historical significance. The Museum Exhibits include: furniture, quilts, toys, household implements, musical instruments, an early dentist's office, and many other artifacts that reflect the heritage of the Township of Osgoode. The Agriculture Museum houses: a large collection of early agricultural implements, tools and industrial artifacts. The Museum also has extensive genealogical holdings including cemetery records, family records and local histories.
