Pursue your interest in heritage… The Gloucester Museum, established in 1989, preserves and celebrates the legacy of the Gloucester community. Visitors can research the 200-year history of Gloucester and its people through a comprehensive collection of artifacts and archival records. Collection includes a broad range of artifacts representing the history of Gloucester from the area's agricultural period to the urbanization of post WWII. Areas of interest include clothing, domestic technology, furnishings, sports, agriculture and trades. Exhibitions, tours of the storage areas, outreach programs to schools and participation in community events are offered.
