Lake St. Peter features two sandy beaches and opportunities to boat, fish, bike and hike. It has two trails that lead to a lookout, a kettle pond and a derelict shanty, and is linked to the Hastings Heritage Trail. This mineral-rich area is a rockhound's delight and a magnet for artists. The park has 65 treed and private campsites, many of which are on the shore of Lake St. Peter. Forty-six are large enough to accommodate trailers. All sites are close to drinking water taps and vault toilets. A centrally located comfort station has washrooms, showers and laundry facilities. Rent a canoe or a paddleboat at the park for a day on Lake St. Peter.
