Heritage Renfrew which sponsors Renfrew Archives is a non-profit organization of volunteers dedicated to preserving, enhancing, recognizing and sharing the history and culture of Renfrew and area. One of our many endeavours is the facility of Renfrew Archives, located at the National Archives Building, (formerly Mitel) adjacent to the Renfrew Inn on O'Brien Rd. Although Heritage Renfrew Archives does not conduct research itself, our facilities are open to the public and use of the material and advice about researching are free of charge. Our only request is that you sign the register, and if the research compiled is pertinent to the area, we request a copy. Our facilities are open for research Monday to Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., or by appointment by contacting one of the directors.
